Welcome to Married to a Baller!

My name is Erin Crispin and I am the wife of professional basketball player Joe Crispin. Welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting. Please feel free to browse around, join in the discussion and find out what it is like to be "married to a baller".

Current Location

We move quite a bit, so this area will be used to give a quick idea of where we are currently located. Right now we are in State College, PA for the summer as Joe trains for next season.

Websites/Blogs

There are so many good websites and blogs out there that it would be impossible to come up with an exhaustive list.  So here are some of the ones I visit most frequently.

Blogs
1. 22 Words- Each post is only 22 words, but Abraham Piper can make you laugh, question or think deeply with his short posts.

2. What’s Best Next- A great blog for those of us who use David Allen’s “Getting Things Done” system. Matt Pearman practically fleshes out every tasks and challenges of living a productive life.

3. Christian Nymphos- Although I don’t agree with everything written, this is a truly unique blog written to encourage married Christians in their sex life. I love the Monday Missions!

4. Pioneer Woman- This is one of the best all-around sites. It actually consists of 5 blogs, of which the cooking is my favorite. Ree’s photography is amazing as well.

5. Girl Talk- This is where I get daily encouragement in biblical womanhood, motherhood, and get some great quotes and recommendations. Run by the Mahaney women, they are always honest, encouraging and challenging.

Cooking
1. All-Recipes- My favorite site to search for recipes. I especially like the ingredient search, where you can search for recipes with specific ingredients you may have on hand.

2. Dinner A’Fare- Go on here to schedule and session and pick out your meals to cook lots of great meals at once. You can spend a few hours at the store and have dinners for a month!

3. A Year of Crock Potting- A woman who made a goal to crock pot every day for a year and has lots of great recipes. If you love your crock pot like I do, you’ll want to bookmark this one.

Ministries
1. Desiring God- This is by far, the ministry that has had the greatest impact on our lives. The resource library is incredible and all of the sermons and messages can be downloaded for free. They also have tons of online books to read.Abort73.com
2. Sovereign Grace- Another great place for free sermons and messages. My favorite is their music though. We own a few of the CDs and they are listened to often.

3. To Every Tribe- One of our favorite missionary organizations with a great vision for reaching the lost.

4. Abort73- One of the greatest groups fighting for the rights of the unborn in America. Support them by buying one of their cool t-shirts too!

5. Seek Him- A ministry Joe started with his uncle back in 2002. Although not a very active site, the resource library and bookstore are great tools for finding books and articles.

Shopping
1. Amazon- If I could buy everything on Amazon, I think I would. I have never had one problem in my many orders made.

2. Drugstore.com- My second favorite place to shop. I barely buy things besides food at the grocery store anymore because I can get it for a better price with free shipping here.

3. Nurtured Family- This is where I buy our cloth diapers from, but they also have lots of other great baby items.

4. Kayak- If you are looking for the lowest airfare prices, be sure to check out this website.

5. Etsy- If I let myself, I could spend all day browsing through all the Etsy shops. I love to see the talent of so many people in one place.
