Spotlight Saturday: Would You Rather…? Travel Version- Classic
ByDuring my time at my parents’ house we played a fun game called “Would You Rather…?“ There are different versions of this game, but we played the travel version- classic, which involved tasteful questions and no silly stunts to perform. The concept was very simple. One person picked a question, read it over and then wrote down their answer. The other players then had to come to a consensus about what the best answer was. If that answer matched up with the first players answer, the first player stayed in the winning category. If it didn’t, they dropped down tot he losing category. The last player left in the winning category won.
One of the great things about the game is that there is no player limit. You can play with as many people as you want. It is sometimes hard to find good games for a large crowd, but this is one. The other great thing was it facilitated great thinking and discussion. I was playing with my parents, brother and sister-in-law who I all know very well, but got to know them in new and different ways through the questions!
So I thought we would try our own little version of the game on here for you guys to get to know me and me to get to know my readers. For the next week or so, I will post “Would You Rather…?” questions that i will answer and you can answer in the comments section. I don’t have the game with me, so I would love for you all to submit questions for us to use in the comment section of this post. To give you some ideas, here are a few I remember from the game (although not word-for-word):
1. Would you rather have such a huge nose that people refer to you as “The Inhalator” or such big ears that you are know as “Dumbo”?
2. Would you rather speak all that you say in rhymes or sing everything?
3. In a basketball game, would you rather lose a 20 point lead and be up 2 points with a minute to play or come back from a 20 point deficit and be down 2 with a a minute to play?
Submit as many questions as you would like and let’s have some fun thinking through some “would you rather” situations!

Would you rather travel from point a to point be all year long doing cartwheels or somersaults?
Would you rather travel alone with four children on a non-stop flight or have a layover or two and have a friend or family member traveling with you?
Would you rather lose your suitcase or your imac?
I’m not very good at thinking of questions…
